Ack! Where do I begin?
Well, I am humbly venturing into new territory as a playwright and freelance writer. My first full length play entitled Azalea Blue is had staged reading in April 2013 at The Players Club, a salon reading in August 2015. After some reworks it is out to producers for consideration. Currently researching and writing my second full length play.
In addition to my own writing, I teach theatre with Open Door Arts in Education Project. In those classes we focus on text development and style.
And because I like to stay busy – I occasionally (and by occasionally I mean not recently) freelance as an Arts Columnist and advocate of arts in spiritual, physical and emotional healing. In that capacity, I write articles inspired by lively conversations, colorful banter, and insightful observations with friends on how art can be used as a tool to heal unseen wounds. That and keeping the arts alive in education are topics I passionately support.
